Many congratulations to Kateie Chappell and Les Rayfield!!!

2012 has been a very busy year seeing many changes at Brynseion........we have moved to Gloucestershire! This decision was taken quickly but not lightly, we found Redhill Farm and really could not miss out on it

The only downside of the move was that Carly decided not to come with us, she and her husband Kris are about to embark on their next great adventure - parenthood, their little boy is due in April 2013.

I have a superb replacement in Gemma Paxford who is now working with me in Gloucestershire. I have every confidence that this too will be a special relationship!

The Royal Welsh 2012 was an excellent show for us Brynseion Bendigo won the ridden cob stallion class and was reserve champion, at last a home bred RWAS winner! Even more special, however was Carly's first red after 15 years of showing at Builth. Sarum Rose Petal won the section A junior brood mare class.

By establishing the Brynseion stud in 2002, I fulfilled a long held dream to breed Welsh Mountain Ponies. I aim to breed Mountain Ponies of true Welsh type with extravagant movement and kind temperaments. I hope to produce ponies to excel both in hand and under saddle.

We acquired 3 mares as foundation stock. Wilcrick Jem, Teifi Primrose & Forlan Ceinwen. I have continued to seek out lovely mares. In March 2003 I was offered the opportunity to buy Llwynan Llewelyn, a stallion I had long admired. My husband, Nick has also been smitten by the Welsh breeds & we have now started breeding both section C's & D's.
